Get your product or restaurant reviewed at Canadian FoodiesInterested in having your product reviewed or having us develop a recipe around it? Send it along or send us coupons/gift certificates to pick it up and try it. We can't promise we're going to love it, but at least we'll be gentle. QuantitiesThe more you can send us, the more ways we can try it out and make recommendations. We love to play with our food. Send us enough for 4 people to sample each flavour - a small portion each. Think the equivalent of a couple of squares of chocolate each, or a few chips, crackers, or cookies. This formula also works well for condiments and other prepared foods. If you are presenting an unusual ingredient, you may want to send a large enough amount that we can "experiment" a little - enough to try a few different dishes and combinations and you are more likely to get a longer write-up (the upcoming review of Rice Select Royal Blend will be a good example). Photographs and Marketing CollateralWhen you send us product to review, please send us digital product photographs and product descriptions/marketing materials to use in the review in addition to any candid photos we take during prep and serving. please name the file with your company and product name and attach in an email with your product literature/marketing materials. Please let us know if you are fine with us also using the photo in a more generic context (season articles, perhaps). Photographs are always handy to have around, and in any such use, we will credit the photo as coming from your files. Shipping packaged goodsDry goods or well protected containers can be shipped directly to our offices at: Canadian Foodies Frozen or Fresh FoodsFor perishables, we suggest a coupon or gift certificate to pick up a sample rather than shipping them or dropping them off. You can send electronic coupons to us at 2012@canadianfoodies.ca or send hard copies to the address above. Restaurant ReviewsWe love to attend restaurant openings, but we also know that these events are not always representative of what an typical meal will be like once the venue has been open for a while. We will gladly cover your restaurant openings, provided we can also do a review of the venue once it has been open for a minimum of one month to allow you to shake out the kinks. For reviews, we require a gift certificate sent to the office so that wait-staff will not be alerted to our presence. To request that one of our reviewers come to your venue, please email us at 2012@canadianfoodies.ca to discuss the process.
